Lockington is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of East Riding of Yorkshire.
Lockington Parish Council serves the communities of Lockington, Aike, outlying homes, farmsteads, and businesses of the Civil Parish. The Parish Council comprises nine elected Parish Councillors, supported by the Parish Clerk. The Parish is located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, approximately 6 miles north of Beverley and 7 miles south of Driffield. According to the 2019 estimate, the population of Lockington Parish is 539, and there were 255 separate households (2011 census). As a Parish Council, we are the tier of Local Government closest to the people we represent.
